Honest Anger

I'm always racing against something, My time, My mind, A task, This mask.

I get the most honest in this chapter. My emotional rock bottom, I stare myself in the mirror and call her by name: Hurting.

She starts to whisper back at me, quietly at first - and then she's screaming until I acknowledge her by another name: Grief.

She starts to tell me everything, where abandonment lives, how I can get in touch with brokenness, she reminds me that joy is Sorrow’s little sister and she teaches me how to braid my darkness into the rainbow.

This chapter she reveals survival.
