Today was a very busy one here – I took my sweet time waking up so as to not feel like hurling … then we started off running errands to buy a printer (finally), get the necessary items for tiling the mud room/entry way, ritual stop at JP’s Coffee …
I lay down for a few minutes before Tracy come over to help me tile to mud room and thats all we’ve been up to since! It was a lot of fun, less minute then I thought it was going to be, which was a huge bonus.
We have a bit left to do – Aaron and I will hopefully finish tomorrow during nap time and then possibly seal it. It’s not required but that room always gets A TON of wear and tear so it might be wise.
I had glue in my hair, under my nails – my knees are raw and my back isn’t as bad as I thought it would be. But my hands are sore and my thumbs are throbbing (kinda weird, I think).
We cleaned up and then had dinner with Tracy and Dave which was a great way to end the night and I am SO excited to be [almost] done with that room. The only thing left to do is build a wall with cubby holes or lockers. Maybe in the next 6 months. We’ll see.
But on the baby side of things – at dinner tonight I felt a little flutter. It’s too early to actually feel the baby moving yet but it was nice to think … this pregnancy is so back burner to Jessica I haven’t really day dreamed or thought much about it yet. Which I think is typical and it’ll probably change when I’m noticeably showing and am more aware of the baby but it was nice all the same.
Was that ceramic tile or vinal? If ceramic, hopefully, you didn’t use (gasp!) that stuff from a bucket, pre-mixed…especially with a large ceramic tile. Takes forever to dry, and softens again if it gets wet.
They’re vinyl
