Last week, wait I think it was last week, either way the OTHER day I took the kids to a dairy farm for a tour. We met up with a bunch of other local moms, the first “mom group” I’ve been to, you could say, and had a good time. (Aside from the total stress of having 2 kids who have no fear, alone, with no stroller and a bunch of strangers brings, but hey – bright side, right?)
I had my camera with me – which is normal – but as I was going through the photos I noticed how many of them didn’t really have a face in them, or anything to let you know I was on a farm. They were just partial shots of my kids. An arm, a shoe, a blurry face. Part of this had to do with the fact that I was trying desperately to carry one or hold the others hand while I was taking photos which means I was almost never LOOKING through my camera – just shooting images.
But I love these photos. Little nuances.
When I see them, I feel like I’m remembering the best parts of that morning. I’m seeing it from their point of view.
