We’re on a plane to Boulder, Co. right now.
HELL YES.
While I’m away allow me to show you what my mom introduced me to: a new found amazing thrifting spot. It’s called Changing Thymes and is in Grandville, Mi. (Their website)
Here’s some of what I picked up:
Each of these books were $1. I couldn’t help myself. If nothing else it was worth this tweet.
This lace doily or table runner was $2. You’ll see it soon in another fun DIY.
Old Fashioned Style. $2. LOVE IT. No idea what I’m going to do with it yet. You know how some people collect tins or fake flowers? I collect jars. And pyrex.
I can do almost anything … $1.
An old tin!! For tea. $2.
Lacey apron. $2.
Set of pretty plates for my daughter’s tea parties. $3.
Two tea-towels that I have an idea for. $4.
I’m not sure what these are. Coasters? Ash trays? There are 4 of them, they were $3. I think I’ll use them for my jerwelry in my dresser, or for decorating during the holidays. I’ve got some ideas.
So – I’ll be gone all week but I’ll pop in here once in a while (a few fun DIY posts coming) but I want to see what you guys can find. Go shopping! You can email me photos or add them yourself to the Flickr Group and we’ll do a round up. ROUND IT UP, FRIENDS.
In the mean time – I’ve been told about some fabulous thrifting in Colorado as well and I’ll see if I can get away and check it out. Have you been to Boulder or Denver even? What should we see, where should we eat and what should we NOT COME HOME until we’ve done?
