Chapter one is foundational - these are the things I was given, but this is what I can keep and what I know to be true and from there, I'm going to figure the rest out for myself.

So much of my life has been shrouded in confusion. What's going on? Who's in charge? Why don't the rules you made me obey apply to anyone, even you? Who made you my rule keeper? I didn't have evidence of this duality until I knew for sure - after I had my own family.

After I wanted to protect them from all of what I was given, by default. I gathered evidence through my own experimental living out loud and this is where I'm going to start from.
